Am I a candidate for GLP-1 weight loss?

Most adults are candidates for GLP-1 weight loss with us, and we also treat adolescents ages 12–18. Every potential patient is screened through a medical history form, with potential bloodwork if needed, to determine eligibility. We treat both active weight loss and weight maintenance — whichever fits your goals. Once you submit your intake form, we’ll notify you of your approval before your consultation is booked. If for any reason you’re not a candidate, we’ll let you know directly so you can explore other options.

How fast will I see results?

Most patients notice quieter cravings in week one. Visible weight loss begins around weeks 2–4. The 22+ lbs in 10 weeks figure reflects what’s typical for patients who stay consistent with weekly injections and basic dietary guidance.

Semaglutide vs Tirzepatide — which one?

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are both excellent options that help many patients lose 20+ lbs in 10 weeks. Over time, Tirzepatide delivers more consistent weight loss and patients report fewer side effects — but just because Semaglutide is less expensive doesn’t mean it’s not a great product. It’s still very effective and well tolerated.

Tirzepatide is priced higher. If cost is not a factor, it’s the ultimate choice. If budget is a concern, Semaglutide delivers great results at a lower cost.

How much weight you need to lose matters too. If you need to lose 20 lbs or less, you’ll likely only need 1 vial, so the price difference is less of a concern. If you need to lose 60+ lbs, you’ll likely need 3 vials, and the price difference becomes more important to factor in.

Because Tirzepatide is more effective for weight loss, you’ll typically be on the medication for a shorter period of time — something to factor in when comparing overall cost.

What about side effects?

Do you accept insurance, FSA, HSA, or CareCredit?

We’re cash-pay — most patients find our pricing significantly lower than insurance copays for the same medications. FSA, HSA, and CareCredit are accepted. Bloodwork can run through your insurance via Sonora Quest. We provide itemized receipts for out-of-pocket reimbursement.
